Hi, I'm Elliott Sequoia Endre, LMFT-CST.
I'm Elliott Sequoia Endre, LMFT-CST — a licensed marriage and family therapist and certified sex and relationship therapist with a decade in clinical practice, based in both Arcata and San Francisco, California.
Some of what brings people here is easy to name — a relationship with shifting agreements, a question about what’s normal, a business that's tangled up with intimacy in ways no one warned you about. Some of it is harder to say out loud: wondering if what you're feeling is real or performed, how much is safe to reveal and to whom, whether it's like this for everyone or just you. The sense that money, power, or desire have quietly taken the wheel somewhere along the way, writing a story you didn't choose, or wish to change now. Whatever brought you here, this work moves the way any real ecology does — in cycles, some fast, some so slow it takes a season’s growth to notice. I'm here to witness, support, and tend to and that with you, whoever you are, or however many people are in the relationship.
My clinical focus is on what doesn't fit standard templates: desire and values in conflict, relationships that need new agreements, bodies and identities in change, and the particular complexity that comes from living outside the mainstream frameworks for love, sex, family, and work. I've spent a decade doing this in individual sessions, with couples and relational constellations, in graduate classrooms, and in rooms where the questions about money, sex, and power are neither separate nor simple.
If you've tried to explain your situation to someone and felt the framework was too small for it, this practice was built for that gap.
I see clients in person in Arcata and throughout California by telehealth. My work also extends nationally and internationally through coaching, consultation, teaching, and training — for people navigating sex, power, non-monogamy, kink, sex work, relational systems, or erotic change, wherever they're located.
Because many of our most complex relational lives don't fit neatly inside one jurisdiction, one household, or one geography.
I am currently accepting new clients.
